OFFICIAL VIZTA RULEBOOK
Last Reviewed: 7 July 2025
Created By: Boone, Iced, and the Justice Committee
Approved By: Executive Board, Justice Committee, Board of Directors
1.1 Rule Authority
1.1.1. The Justice Committee holds full discretion over rule interpretation and enforcement.
1.1.1.1. The executive board has the power to veto, alter, or create punishments if deemed necessary for the protection and integrity of the league.
1.1.2. The executive board retains final say on rulebook edits.
1.1.3. Rules may be revised after the season; permanent amendments will be posted in the #announcements channel and reflected in this document.
1.1.4. Should there be a complete tie in Justice Committee votes, the Executive Board and Board of Directors will confer on punishments.
1.1.5. “Genuine stupidity” rule: Players, staff, or fans doing anything that could be defined as “genuinely stupid” can result in a case being opened and investigated by the Justice Committee and the BoD. This includes finding/intentionally exploiting loopholes anywhere within this rulebook.
2.1.1. Trades must be posted by a Franchise Owner (FO) in the staff transactions channel.
2.1.1.1. However, Franchise Owners ARE allowed to grant their General Manager permission to post transactions and approve trades.
2.1.2. A BoD member from an uninvolved team must approve or reject the trade.
2.1.3. Veto process begins if a trade is flagged as unfair by a BoD member.
2.1.3.1 In the veto process, the Board of Directors will host a vote to determine whether or not the trade should go through. If the BoD vote ties, the trade will be invalidated.
2.1.4. Draft picks can be traded during the regular season.
2.1.4.1. The Executive Board reserves the right to revert this decision mid-season if abuse is forecasted.
2.1.5. Two unbalanced trade attempts will result in an investigation of Franchise Owners by the Justice Committee.
2.1.5.1. If the Justice Committee finds an FO to be incompetent, the BoD and Executive Board will issue a singular warning before finding a replacement.
2.1.6. Any trade involving real-life currency, Robux, or external value will result in an immediate removal of involved Franchise Owners.
2.1.6.1. The punishment for this may be changed depending on a Justice Committee investigation into Roblox ToS.
2.1.6.2. If found against Roblox ToS, an email and report will be sent to Roblox staff.
2.1.7. Trades cannot drop a team below 13 players; FO’s attempting to manipulate this will lose their status.
2.1.8. Only the Franchise Owner or General Manager if approved for each team has the ability to approve trades.
2.1.9. The trade deadline for VizTa is after the All-Star game.
2.1.10. If a franchise owner or general manager resigns or is fired, they are ineligible to be traded for the remainder of the season.
2.1.11. After a player is traded, they must play at least 2 games with their new team before being eligible to be traded again.
2.1.11.1. Playing is defined as having a full AB in a game.
2.1.11.2. If an FO attempts to use this rule to hoard players, they will be suspended and their team will be ineligible to protect players for the upcoming draft.
2.1.11.3. If a player refuses to play as to not be traded, it will still be considered RTP.
2.1.11.4. If two players are “unsigned” and “resigned” in an attempt to bypass this rule both Franchise Owners’ teams will be ineligible for prizing and receive a 5-game suspension.
2.1.12. Trades cannot be confirmed involving players who are currently playing within a game.
2.2.1. Players must be in the Discord server and registered before taking the field.
2.2.2. Signings require both player acceptance and notification to the BoD.
2.2.3. Signing a player without their consent will result in a punishment of the first occurance being a warning and the next occurrence will result in a removal of rank..
2.2.4. Contracts of any kind are prohibited. This includes clauses (e.g., “no trade” or “must start”), promises, multi-season agreements, or anything involving real-life currency or Robux.
2.2.4.1. Violations of rule 2.2.4. will result in demotion and a potential fine.
2.2.5. After the regular season ends, no teams are allowed to sign players (“just for playoffs” rule)..
2.4.1. During the offseason, the VizTa draft will occur.
2.4.2. Pick trading is allowed throughout the season, but we advise caution due to not knowing what number for each round teams will have.
Example: You can trade a first round pick in the season 3 draft for Coob during season 2, but you will not know if your first round pick was the 1st overall pick or the 6th.
2.4.2.1. Pick trading closes 72 hours before the draft begins.
2.4.3. Eligible players for the draft must be registered in the Discord server prior to the draft beginning.
2.4.4. Using an alt in the draft is strictly prohibited and will result in a suspension for all involved.
2.4.5. Draft includes five rounds with one minute clocks for each pick.
2.4.6. After all picks are traded, each team must have a minimum of two draft picks.
2.4.7. If a player is caught dodging the draft, they will be ineligible to be signed.
2.4.8. No team will be able to have more than four picks in each round.
2.5.1. Unless they choose to resign, all teams will keep both their Franchise Owner and General Manager for the following season.
2.5.2. After the conclusion of the world series, there will be a 48 hour period for teams to protect three of their current roster players. This allows the team to keep a core five-players.
2.5.2.1. All other players will be unsigned and eligible for the draft.
2.5.2.2. The executive board reserves the right to change this season-by-season and adjust the number of allowed protective players to ensure parity.
2.5.2.3. Players must consent to being protected and may declare for the draft if they do not wish to stay with their team.

8.1 Fine System Introduction
8.1.1. VizTa Baseball (VBL) reserves the right to issue monetary fines as a percentage deduction from any future or scheduled Robux payouts, such as awards, bonuses, or championship incentives.
8.1.2. These fines do not withdraw Robux or assets already owned by a player. Instead, they deduct from future league-issued earnings.
8.1.3. This system is designed to promote better behavior and professionalism within the league, without directly penalizing a player’s personal holdings.
8.1.4. The fines may be applied to payouts from the World Series, Player Awards, MVP incentives, or other official VBL prize distributions.
8.2 Fine Tiers and Examples
8.2.1. Fine amounts typically range from 10% to 100% of an eligible payout, based on the severity of the offense and player history.
8.2.2. Fines may be issued alongside suspensions, mutes, or role removals.
8.2.3. Example fine levels include:
10% Fine — Minor conduct issues (e.g., disrespectful chat, repeated micro infractions)
25% Fine — Moderate violations (e.g., gameplay unsportsmanlike conduct)
50% Fine — Major offenses (e.g., NSFW content, targeted harassment, unapproved ads)
100% Fine — Severe violations (e.g., alt fraud, admin abuse, game manipulation)
8.2.4. Multiple fines may stack if infractions occur across different categories or events.
8.3 Enforcement Process
8.3.1. All fines are reviewed and approved by the VizTa Executive Board or designated BoD/Justice Committee members.
8.3.2. Players will be informed of the fine amount, offense category, and future payout it will affect.
8.3.3. If a fined player earns nothing during the season, the fine remains on record and will be deducted from any future payouts that season or in future seasons.
8.3.4. Attempting to bypass fines (e.g., transferring accounts, offering Robux directly, using alts) results in a full-season suspension and permanent ineligibility for earnings.
8.4 Appeals
8.4.1. Players have 72 hours from the time of fine issuance to submit an appeal to the VizTa Board.
8.4.2. Appeals must include an explanation of the event, reason for appeal, and any supporting context or evidence.
8.4.3. Appeals will be reviewed within 5 days. All final decisions are binding and non-negotiable.
This document is subject to change. Permanent changes will be updated in the public rulebook and communicated by the Justice Committee and Executive Board.
